About the Company

ABC Window Company, Inc., in business for over thirty years, is a leading Southern California manufacturer and installer of high quality windows and doors for the new-home construction market. Raymond R. (Whitey) Hegwer, founder and long-time owner of ABC Window Company, began ABC Products Co. in June 1971 in South El Monte, California. In 1986, the company relocated to its current central location in Ontario, California. In 1996, Mr. Hegwer's daughter, Ellen Hegwer, joined the team and later became President and CEO.

The year 2004 brought some significant changes to the Company. In January, Mr. Hegwer sold his interest to a private equity group, while Ellen Hegwer remained in the role of CEO and retained her ownership interest. The new majority owner has provided ABC Window Company with additional professional management expertise and strong financial backing that will enable it to achieve its long-term growth plans. Also during 2004, the Company brought to market several new products, the Deluxe Vinyl Window and Door, which feature a 3 ¼" frame and other special aesthetic qualities.

In late 2006, Bob Raichle, the Vice President of Operations, moved into the role of President and CEO. Bob has twenty years of experience in senior sales, operations, and general management positions for the new construction and remodel/retrofit window manufacturers. Bob's dedication to exceptional product quality and top notch customer service compliments ABC Window Company's philosophy of providing the best installed prodcut solutions for its customers.

ABC Window Company offers a full rangevinyl windows and patio doors from single hung windows to specialty windows. Through technical knowledge and progressive engineering, the Company is able to provide its customers with energy-efficient and sound-attenuating products.
