Ordering:
. Due to Seasonal demand,
call the office for current lead time prior to scheduling frames,
panel, or screens.
. Sliding
glass door frames should be scheduled at the same time windows are
scheduled.
Delivery of Glazed Windows:
. Single family: Deliveries
to individual garages per release.
. Condo and Apartments: Deliveries are 1-drop shipment
per release.
( Windows not delivered to each individual unit.)
. Please have
superintendent or a representative of your company check all deliveries
immediately, as shortages will not be honored 48 hours of delivery.
Installation of Door Frames:
. Please ensure opening is correct and clean.
. 2 trimmers per side needed for all sliding
doors larger than 6/0 6/8.
. If the door and window heights need to be
identical then the window sill will have to be lowered to match
the door.
. In order to make the job run smoother, we
recommend that the sheet metal and any necessary height adjustments
(for pouring the floor) be nailed in before the frame installer
arrives. If the floor needs to be raised use a 1x6 instead of a
1x4 so the frame will be caulked properly. If the frames are to
be installed after the floor is poured then a 1x4 is O.K. Nail it
at 1/4" past the inside wall.
. If any window is to be
above a door, we recommend that the door frame be installed before
the window so that the two will be in vertical alignment.
. All Vinyl Doors will be
shipped complete.
. Please note, ABC Window Co. will not be responsible
for any damage done to door frames by sheet metal workers, drywall
loaders and stacker, burglar alarms, etc. |
